Refund Policy for Maveriq Accounting App

This Refund Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms under which first-time users of the Maveriq Accounting App (the "Service") may request a refund. This Policy is part of the Subscription Agreement between you, the Subscriber, and Maveriq Interactive Technologies Inc., located at 2nd Floor, Oliaji Trade Centre, Mahe, Victoria, Seychelles ("Maveriq," "we," "us," or "our").

1. Eligibility for Refunds

1.1 First-Time Users Only: This refund policy applies exclusively to first-time users of the Service, defined as Subscribers who have not previously held an active subscription to the Maveriq Accounting App.

1.2 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: First-time users are eligible for a full refund of their initial subscription fee if they request a refund within fourteen (14) days from the date of their first subscription payment ("Refund Period").

2. Refund Request Process

2.1 Submitting a Request: To request a refund, you must:

  • Log in to your account and submit the issue or refund request through the account settings within the Service.
  • Alternatively, contact our support team at support@maveriqapp.com.
  • For Subscribers in regions with an authorized distributor, contact the designated distributor using the contact details provided in the Service or on our website at www.maveriqaccounting.com.

2.2 Issue Resolution Attempt: Upon receiving your refund request, we will attempt to address the reported issue or provide a workaround within a reasonable timeframe, typically within five (5) business days. You agree to cooperate with us in troubleshooting the issue, including providing relevant details or access to your account as needed.

2.3 Refund Approval: If we are unable to resolve the issue or provide a satisfactory workaround, we will process a full refund of the initial subscription fee paid for the current billing cycle. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or, for Subscribers in regions with an authorized distributor, through the distributor’s designated payment process.

3. Non-Refundable Cases

3.1 Outside Refund Period: Refund requests made after the 14-day Refund Period will not be eligible for a refund, except as required by applicable law.

3.2 Non-First-Time Users: Subscribers who have previously held an active subscription or who have renewed their subscription are not eligible for refunds under this Policy.

3.3 Upsells and Additional Features: Fees paid for additional features, such as extra storage or additional user licenses, are non-refundable, even for first-time users, unless the feature is directly related to the unresolved issue prompting the refund request.

3.4 No-Show or Non-Cooperation: If you fail to provide sufficient information or cooperate with our support team to resolve the issue, we may deny the refund request.

4. Processing Refunds

4.1 Timing: Approved refunds will be processed within ten (10) business days of approval. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your payment provider or bank.

4.2 Authorized Distributors: For Subscribers in regions with an authorized distributor, refunds will be processed through the distributor. Payments made to an authorized distributor are deemed payments to Maveriq, and refunds will follow the same process outlined above.

5. Effect of Refund

5.1 Account Termination: If a refund is issued, your subscription will be canceled, and your access to the Service will cease at the time of refund processing. Any associated data may be deleted in accordance with the Subscription Agreement and Cancellation Policy.

5.2 No Further Charges: Upon issuing a refund, no further charges will be applied to your account for the canceled subscription.

6. Disputes in Certain Regions

For Subscribers in regions with an authorized distributor, any disputes arising under or related to this Policy or the Subscription Agreement may be resolved in the courts of the Subscriber’s country of residence, and the laws of that country will apply to such disputes. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in your country of residence for this purpose. For all other Subscribers, disputes will be resolved as outlined in the Subscription Agreement (Section 11.2).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
